Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Manage general ledger functions and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Monitor and maintain accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
