Job Description

• Manage and reconcile pharmacy accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements related to pharmacy transactions.
• Monitor and analyze financial records for pharmacy operations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports specific to pharmacy activities.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and management to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for pharmacy-related expenses.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in healthcare accounting practices and pharmacy billing procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the pharmacy accounting function.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy billing, invoicing, and reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
