Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have practical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, and familiarity with IFRS standards. The role will support daily accounting operations, assist in month-end closing, and ensure proper financial documentation aligned with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily accounting transactions.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

• Handle supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment processing.

• Support project cost accounting and job costing for fabrication and installation activities.

• Maintain proper documentation of contracts, expense reports, and supporting schedules.

• Perform regular reconciliations (bank, vendors, customers, advances).

• Monitor and report on receivables, payables, and project-related expenses.

• Support periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation with Odoo records.

• Assist in VAT and Zakat filings in compliance with Saudi regulations.

• Generate financial reports and analysis through Odoo ERP for management review.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement, Project Managers, HR) for accurate financial data flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, or manufacturing Companies.

• Practical knowledge of Odoo ERP (Accounting & Inventory modules) or other similar ERP.

• Familiarity with IFRS standards and Saudi accounting regulations.

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools.

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project-based or manufacturing accounting.

• Understanding of cost allocation and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting.

• Knowledge of VAT, WHT, and Zakat compliance in Saudi Arabia
