Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Day-to-day tasks include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing tax returns. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.


Requirements
3-5 Years of experience, preferably in the Food trading / FMCG industry
Proficiency with zoho books (a must)
Experience in managing day to day acounting operations including processing invoices, AP/AR, reconciling accounts and financial reporting.
Strong uderstanding of VAT filings and compliance with UAE regulations
Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for sales related financial documentation
Ability to maintain accurate financial records and provide financial reports and insights
Support audits and work alongside external consultants when required
Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
