Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and records in accordance with company policies.
• Support the implementation of new financial processes and technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an office-based setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience in software industry or food and beverage is a plus.
