Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Beirut, Lebanon. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.

• Manage and update general ledger accounts with precision and accuracy
• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Record journal entries and reconcile bank statements
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese accounting standards and international regulations
• Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory reports as required
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards and tax regulations
• Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
• Ability to work with multiple currencies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
