Job Description

• Manage and oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations for assigned regional entities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in both English and French.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely provision of required documentation and explanations.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting across regional offices.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense claims for the region.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional tax regulations and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities for regional operations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders, clients, and partners to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
• Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regional tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
• Experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
