Job Description

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports for management review.
• Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documentation, and records.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning related to production costs.
• Support internal and external audits by providing detailed cost data and explanations.
• Evaluate and improve cost control processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial analyses to support pricing, profitability, and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
