About the job Sr Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

  
  

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

  
  

• Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS / GAAP standards.

  
  

• Perform general ledger reconciliations and review journal entries.

  
  

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

  
  

• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

  
  

• Support external and internal audit processes.

  
  

• Review and implement financial controls and accounting policies.

  
  

• Handle VAT, tax filing, and other statutory compliance.

  
  

• Supervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting assistants.
