Tax Returns Preparation
- Prepare and process monthly VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns across different regions.
- Ensure timely submission to relevant authorities and settlement of tax liabilities.
Tax Compliance
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Update and monitor the monthly tax calendar and tracker to ensure accurate and timely filing.
- Review and support the preparation of complex income tax returns.
Tax Accounting
- Managing tax provisions and balances within the general ledger.
- Ensure accurate tax accounting entries and reconciliations.
Tax Document Management
- Maintain organized and up-to-date tax documentation in a central database.
- Handle information requests and ensure audit readiness.
Tax Audits & Inspections
- Coordinate and support during audits and tax inspections.
- Liaise with tax consultants and Business Finance to ensure clear understanding and proper documentation of tax positions.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with IT and the Assistant Financial Controller to resolve VAT system issues.
- Support automation initiatives and contribute to streamlining tax processes.
Tax Reporting & Adhoc Requests
- Prepare and submit reports, reconciliations, and management updates as required.
- Provide adhoc tax-related analysis and support to management.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on key tax topics.
- Contribute to process improvements and business excellence initiatives.
- Maintain continuous learning to enhance technical and professional skills.

What Qualifies You for the Role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, or Accounting. Regional tax knowledge is a plus.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Egyptian tax operations
Technical Skills:
- Strong accounting and tax compliance background.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Experience with Odoo preferred.
