Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled General Accountant to oversee accounting operations for our lubricants and engine oil import/export business within the DMCC Free Zone. The candidate must be familiar with UAE VAT, customs documentation, and Free Zone compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and reconcile general ledger entries for trading activities

- Manage supplier/customer invoicing for international shipments

- Prepare and file VAT returns in line with FTA and DMCC regulations

- Handle freight, customs, and LC-related accounting documentation

- Track inventory movements and cost of goods sold (COGS)

- Support monthly and annual financial reporting

- Coordinate with logistics and procurement for financial accuracy

- Assist with audits and banking documentation

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

- UAE experience in general accounting, preferably in Free Zone import/export

- Knowledge of lubricants, automotive fluids, or industrial products is a plus

- Strong grasp of DMCC compliance and UAE VAT laws,taxes and banking procedures

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP)

- Fluent in English

- Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
