Company Context:

High-growth logistic group with €100m current revenue and a target of significant increase within 3 years, pivoting to an international wholesale model (multi-entity, multi-currency). The finance function is being re-shaped; the role reports directly to the COO with a team of 2 accountants based in France;

Role purpose:

You will own the accounting cycle end-to-end for the Group perimeter, secure month/quarter/year-end closes, lead financial reporting and tax compliance (France & UAE), and build a practical accounting dashboard for management. You will lead and develop the existing team and interface with external auditors, tax advisers and legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual closing; ensure timely, accurate ledgers, reconciliations and disclosures.
• Produce management reporting and KPIs; build the accounting dashboard (stocks, open orders, cash, P&L bridge).
• Manage VAT & corporate tax compliance in France and UAE; coordinate with local advisers.
• Oversee audit readiness and annual audits (France); maintain robust controls & audit trail.
• Steer GL, fixed assets, inventory/COGS, intercompany and multi-currency processes.
• People leadership: guide a 2-person finance/controlling team
• Partner with COO on cash, working capital and scenario planning; align with business on wholesale flows. 

Compensation: AED 35,000-40,000 / month (fixed) + bonus + benefits

المهارات

Qualifications:

• 10–15 years in accounting/finance.
• Strong command of IFRS and French GAAP; tax fundamentals in France
• Proven track record in period closes, audit management, credit management, working capital and inventory.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments; wholesale/industry/retail background a plus.
• Hands-on with ERP; advanced Excel; BI/reporting mindset.
• Leadership: able to structure, set pace, and “close the loop” on complex issues; high reliability and detail-orientation.
• French (required) and English (fluent); comfortable with senior stakeholders and investors.
