Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will lead full-cycle accounting operations for the Dubai office — from entries and reconciliations to accounts finalisation and reporting. The role demands hands-on accounting expertise, team leadership, and a deep understanding of UAE financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting functions including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting.
  

  
  

• Handle accounts finalisation, VAT filings, and related compliance documentation.
  

  
  

• Prepare MIS reports, monthly closures, and management summaries.
  

  
  

• Supervise and guide junior accountants for process accuracy.
  

  
  

• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and management.
  

  
  

• Maintain inventory and financial transaction records.
  

  
  

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company standards.
  

  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  

  
  

• Overall 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as Senior Accountant or equivalent role in UAE.
  

  
  

• Strong command of ERP/accounting software and UAE VAT compliance.
  

  
  

• Proven team handling and reporting experience.
  

  
  

• Male candidates will be preferred for this role.
  

  
  

• Preference for candidates familiar with Gujarati language and culture.
  

  
  

• Candidate must currently be based in Dubai.
