Job Description

• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for both executing daily accounting operations and overseeing the company’s financial records.
  This includes managing payroll, bank transfers, bills, receipts, and reporting, while ensuring timely financial statements and compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves coordination with the company’s external auditor for review and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, monitor, and reconcile all daily financial transactions (AP, AR, petty cash, bank).
• Manage payroll preparation, monthly salary transfers, and related entries.
• Handle and verify bills, receipts, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
• Oversee cash flow management and provide regular updates on liquidity.
• Coordinate with collections and other departments to ensure timely settlements.
• Support and liaise with the external auditor during reviews and audits.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a real estate or service-based company.
• Strong command of accounting principles, taxation, and payroll processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial information.
