Job Description
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (revenues, expenses, purchases, sales, advances, petty cash).
- Prepare journal entries, general and subsidiary ledgers, and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with EAS and IFRS (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Manage the company's tax file including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Payroll Tax, and Withholding Tax.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and follow up on tax inspections and assessments. Track fixed assets, calculate depreciation, tax provisions, and reconcile tax differences.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide all required documentation for annual audits.
- Prepare periodic financial and project performance reports for senior management.
- Efficiently use ERP systems for data entry and financial analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce.
- 6–10 years of experience in general accounting and taxation, preferably within engineering consultancy or contracting firms.
- Solid knowledge of EAS, IFRS, and Egyptian tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience using ERP software for data entry and analysis.
