We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budget preparation. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in ensuring the integrity of our financial data.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
2. Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and revenue accounts, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
3. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights based on historical data and trends.
4. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, presenting findings to management.
5. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
6. Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
7. Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
8. Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management strategies to optimize financial performance.
9. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
10. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational decisions and strategic initiatives.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Possesses a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant certifications such as CPA or ACCA considered a plus.
2. Demonstrates at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
3. Exhibits strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
4. Shows proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
5. Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
6. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
7. Exhibits a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Shows a strong understanding of local tax laws and financial regulations.
9. Possesses a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
