We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team in the Facilities & Property Management sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting principles and practices, coupled with experience in managing financial operations within a corporate environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient management of the accounting team. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring timely month-end close processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in budget preparation and financial forecasting, as well as providing support during audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
3. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
4. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
6. Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are provided promptly.
7. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and growth.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial practices align with overall business objectives.
10. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in accounting.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
3. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
8. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred but not mandatory.
9. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus.
10. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
