Job Description
- Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and analysis to executive leadership.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
- Drive the implementation of accounting systems and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in supervisory accounting role.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and complex projects.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- ERP experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
