Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, supporting audits, and contributing to budgeting and financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial control, supporting operational needs, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management:
  Maintain accurate records of all general ledger transactions, journal entries, and accruals.
• Accounts Reconciliation:
  Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer balances, and intercompany transactions.
• Financial Reporting:
  Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight:
  Monitor and review supplier invoices, client receivables, payment cycles, and ensure timely settlements.
• Tax Compliance:
  Prepare VAT, and income tax filings in coordination with tax advisors and ensure timely submission.
• Audit Preparation:
  Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Cost Allocation for Projects:
  Track and assign project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and project codes (especially for integration or smart systems projects).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3-6 years of professional accounting experience
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Advanced in Excel and financial reporting tools, with strong command of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.
