Job Description

Job Summary:

A detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Accountant is needed to manage all accounting activities related to warehouse and inventory operations. This role ensures accurate tracking of materials, cost control, and financial reporting in line with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to maintain operational efficiency and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor all warehouse transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments.
• Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse financial reports, including inventory valuation and movement analysis.
• Review and verify supporting documents for warehouse-related expenses and supplier invoices.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing for all warehouse operations.
• Support monthly and year-end closing processes for inventory accounts.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely reporting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or oilfield services.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost control, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams under deadlines.
