Job Description

Job Summary:

A motivated Junior Accountant is needed to assist with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is eager to grow within the oilfield services or warehouse operations sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and other financial records.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist in inventory accounting and cost tracking when needed.
   

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or oilfield services.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.
