Chief AccountantJob Location : KuwaitKey Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Review general ledger activities and ensure accurate posting and documentation.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance indicators.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits, compliance, and financial review.
• Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial cycles.
• Hands-on experience in financial reconciliation, closing, and reporting.
• Excellent command of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workload, deadlines, and financial priorities effectively.
• Previous experience in the Kuwaiti market is preferred.
