TSM CPAs and Advisors PC, located in Adlieh, Lebanon, is actively seeking an Experienced Lebanese Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing analytical insights to support business objectives. As an Accountant, you will prepare financial statements, handle accounts payable and receivable, and conduct audits to maintain the integrity of financial data. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of accuracy in all financial transactions. You will collaborate closely with various departments, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization while ensuring adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of all transactions.
  3. Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights that support strategic financial planning.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and reporting requirements.
  6. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure the organization's financial stability.
  7. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns as required.
  8. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  9. Prepare and present financial analysis and reports to management and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact financial practices and compliance.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Possesses a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  2. Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
  3. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  4. Exhibits excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
  5. Is proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  6. Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences.
  7. Shows a proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  8. Is a team player, capable of collaborating with various departments to achieve common organizational goals.
  9. Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information and communications.
  10. Has a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the Lebanese market.
