The Chief Accountant is a vital leadership position within our finance department, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to manage a team effectively. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions. The Chief Accountant will also play a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to guide the organization towards its financial goals. This position requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
3. Manage the budgeting process, providing analysis and insights to support financial planning.
4. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax reporting and filings.
5. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
6. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
8. Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business objectives.
10. Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve accuracy in financial reporting.

المهارات

The candidate must hold LACPA license.

Responsibilities include supervising the accounting team, preparing and reviewing financial reports, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
