Job Description
- Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to track inventory movements and usage.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory accounting.
- Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues, such as stock shortages, overages, and obsolete items.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all inventory transactions.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external inventory audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations affecting inventory management.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory or related field (construction preferred).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
