Job Description

• Supervise all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
• Journal entries and non-salary transfers.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Monthly and year-end closings.
• Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
• Preparation of financial status reports for government agencies.
• Manage and maintain finance related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs.
• Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
• Handing and recording internal financial transactions as well as financial transaction with the company’s clients and affiliates.
• Applying all Accounting functions for a specific site.
• Handling day to day accounts transactions.
• Verification of bills receivables & payable.
• Handling petty cash maintenance.
• Handling supplier bill payments.
• Files management & knowledge of labor payments.
• Communicate and report to accounting supervisor for all actions taken.
• Review weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group.
• Prepare and submits weekly progress reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting.
• Preferred exp. in construction field.
• Construction background.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
• Awareness of business trends.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
