Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
