الوصف الوظيفي

MdM Switzerland provides healthcare access for vulnerable populations. Since 1994, MdM has implemented Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programmes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), supporting victims of violence, children, detainees, and national mental-health system strengthening.

Main Objective

Lead and coordinate all financial, accounting, budgetary, and logistics activities to ensure transparent, efficient mission support.

Key Responsibilities

Finance

  • Oversee mission and partners’ accounting in SAGA; ensure accurate records and monthly submissions,
  • Validate expenses, procurement documents, and financial controls,
  • Manage cash-flow, forecasts, bank accounts, and reconciliations,
  • Review partner financial reports; conduct monitoring visits; provide capacity building,
  • Coordinate mission budgets, financial reporting, donor contracts, and amendments,
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements (ECHO, UN, SDC) and support audits.

Logistics

  • Plan and budget logistics needs (procurement, fleet, IT, supply chain),
  • Ensure harmonized procurement and logistics procedures across all bases,
  • Oversee inventory, IT systems, facilities, transportation, and logistics tracking tools,
  • Train and support field teams on logistics systems and procedures,

Management

  • Supervise finance and logistics staff; set objectives, monitor activities, and support recruitment/training.

Profile Required

  • Excellent use of SAGA (mandatory), Excel and the Microsoft Office Pack,
  • Excellent writing, communication, and diplomacy skills,
  • Ability to provide guidance and foster good team dynamic,
  • Pedagogy and organizational skills,
  • Good writing and ability to communicate effectively,
  • Ability to work quickly, under pressure, and with short deadlines,
  • Technical skills in security, supply chain, stock, team management, IT,
  • Technical skills in accounting, budgeting, compliance, reporting, archiving and treasury management,
  • Driving licence is an added value,
  • Fluent English and Arabic mandatory, French is an asset.

Conditions

  • Duty station: Ramallah with field visits.
  • Contract: 12 months renewable; 3-month probation.
  • Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, office hours.
