Job Description

• We are excited to announce an open position for a Accountant to join our team at Biotech Pharma in Cairo, Egypt. T
• his role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in the dynamic pharmaceutical industry, contributing to essential financial functions within a reputable organization.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Job Requirements

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, includingaccounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll transactions.

• Conduct account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate records and files for auditing purposes.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• • Proven experience as an Accountant with 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
• • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with excellent organizational and time- management skills.
• • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
