Seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to manage manufacturing costing. Track production, maintenance, and operational costs; analyze data; prepare reports and reconciliations; support budgeting; and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and allocate costs for production, maintenance, and operations.

- Monitor material, labor, and overhead to track production expenses.

- Analyze cost variances versus standards and identify improvement opportunities.

- Prepare cost reports (including COGM) and present findings to management.

- Provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

- Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate cost data.

- Ensure compliance and audit support for costing processes and controls.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, warehousing, Planning & Reporting, and Senior Accounting.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

- CMA or other relevant certification preferred but not required.

- 3–5 years in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or production
