Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Checking incoming invoices
• Recording all business transactions: handling accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, as well as bank and cash transactions
• Documentation and preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assisting in strategic financial management issues and preparing key information for management
• Communication with tax consultants and auditors
• Reviewing travel expense reports
• Determining tax liabilities
• Submitting reports to authorities and administrations
• Preparing VAT advance returns for the tax office

Job Requirements

• Job Requirements:
• Certified Accountant 
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance, accounting, and German tax law
• Ideally: certified as a balance sheet accountant
• Professional experience within German corporate structures
• Proficient in DATEV
• Excellent command of the German language (C1 level)
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
• High affinity for numbers
• Analytical and precise working style
• Well-organized approach
• Self-motivated
