Entreprise :COBCO was established in 2023 through a joint venture between the Chinese group CNGR, a global leader in the production of materials for electric vehicle batteries, and the AL MADA group, one of the largest private investment funds in Africa.The company is developing an industrial park in Jorf Lasfar dedicated to the manufacturing of battery components for electric vehicles. Covering over 200 hectares and involving an investment of 20 billion dirhams, this industrial park aims to produce 120,000 tons of NMC precursors, 60,000 tons of LFP components, and 30,000 tons of black mass annually.COBCO's production will support the manufacturing of battery materials for over one million electric vehicles each year.Poste :About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function and drive key finance initiatives, including ERP implementation and digitalization. This role combines hands-on accounting expertise with leadership, strategic thinking, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, fixed assets, banking, and general ledger

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Prepare statutory financial statements and IFRS-compliant reports

Perform account reconciliations and maintain proper documentation

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve high performance and accuracy

Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners to ensure compliance and smooth audits

Drive process improvements and support finance digitalization initiatives

Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy and proper controls

Lead the ERP implementation and manage its ongoing operation, working closely with IT and external consultantsProfil recherché :Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit

At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting

Strong hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO) is essential

Deep understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations

Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a team

ERP implementation and management experience is a strong advantage

Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
