تفاصيل الوظيفةJob Title: Accountant Assistant – FMCG Company (UAE). Work from Home, but must be living in the UAE.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant Assistant to support daily financial operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role includes handling routine accounting tasks, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring smooth coordination between finance, operations, and procurement departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations including AP/AR entries, invoice processing, and payment tracking.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.

• Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with warehouse team on stock adjustments.

• Prepare and update expense records, petty cash, and reimbursement reports.

• Assist with VAT preparation and filing in compliance with UAE regulations.

• Coordinate with suppliers on payments, statements, and account discrepancies.

• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.

• Support auditor requests during quarterly and annual audits.

• Perform ad-hoc financial tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience (FMCG experience is a plus).

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.

• Good knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with inventory-heavy businesses.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
