We are seeking a highly skilled, smart, and results-driven Accountant to manage the full spectrum of our company’s financial and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical abilities, and a proactive mindset with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery.
The candidate must be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing customer collections, and ensuring smooth coordination with management and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, invoicing, receipts, and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer account reviews.
Handle customer follow-ups, payment reminders, and collections professionally and confidently.
Monitor cash flow, maintain accounting schedules, and support budgeting processes.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and digital record keeping.
Utilize Zoho Books (or other accounting software) efficiently to perform end-to-end accounting tasks.
Generate detailed reports and dashboards through Excel and Zoho for management review.
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments as required.
Provide recommendations to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Take ownership of responsibilities and maintain a “work-first priority” mindset.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Proven experience with Zoho Books (mandatory).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, reporting).
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in calling customers and handling collections politely but firmly.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage the entire accounting cycle independently.
Smart, detail-oriented, and capable of producing accurate and high-quality work.
Strong reporting and analytical skills.
Hardworking and committed to meeting deadlines and supporting business operations.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethics.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in construction, fit-out, or maintenance industry accounting.
Knowledge of UAE VAT filing and compliance.
Familiarity with Zoho ecosystem (Books, Inventory, CRM, FSM, etc.).
