Job Description
- Prepare, analyze, and report on cost records and statements to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Monitor and evaluate cost expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to production, operations, and project costs.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost information and analysis.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in inventory valuation and reconciliation processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost accounting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Exp in Restaurant industry is a highly prefer.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
