Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Manage general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and implement recommendations as needed.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and support ad hoc financial projects as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
