Position: Senior Auditor – Technical
Location: Qatar

Role Purpose
Perform internal audits on the company’s operations, including manufacturing, technical engineering, and engineering systems, to provide reasonable assurance to Management, the Board of Directors, and stakeholders that the control framework is effective, compliant, and supports achievement of organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of manufacturing, technical, and engineering operations, including maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  
  

• Audit corporate functions such as HSE, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

  
  

• Evaluate risk, compliance, and operational efficiency of systems and processes.

  
  

• Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.

  
  

• Coordinate with management to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.

  
  

• Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required.

  
  

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Industrial).

  
  

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) – Mandatory.

  
  

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) – Mandatory.

  
  

• Optional but preferred: Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP).

  
  

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of internal audit experience, with at least 4 years in a senior role.

  
  

• At least 3 years of experience in technical internal audit within steel or manufacturing industries.

  
  

• Prior experience in auditing operations, maintenance, engineering systems, and corporate functions.

  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical and engineering understanding relevant to manufacturing processes.

  
  

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.

  
  

• Ability to assess technical, operational, and corporate risks effectively.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of audit standards, methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
