Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage company budgets, reporting variances and providing recommendations for cost control.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting accounting and finance operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and continuous learning.
