International Overseas Company for General Trade (IOC) is a leading Palestinian company in the import and distribution of FMCG with different locations across the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

 Job brief:

IOC is looking to hire an accountant who has the skills in a variety of accounting practices, such as reviewing and reconciling the general ledger, conducting regular audits, managing accounts payable and receivable and approving expense report.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Reconciles accounts payable and receivable.
• Handles monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Manages balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Audits financial transactions and documents.
• Reinforces financial data confidentiality and conducts database backups.
• Computes taxes and prepares tax returns.
• Determines payroll, maintains payroll data.
• Reconciliation of Bank statement, cash boxes and Cheques boxes.
• Make the bank transfers.

Accountant Skills:

• Risk management.
• Internal & external audits.
• MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Accounting software (Shamel, Oracle, Bisan)
• Proficiency in English
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build reports
• Time management and planning skills.
• BSc/BA in accountant.

Conditions:

• University degree: BSc/BA in accounting.
• Experience: 2-5 years.
• Professional knowledge of English language
• Residing in Nablus .
