Job Description

Position Summary

The General Accountant for the Red Sea branches is responsible for managing all financial and accounting activities related to our showrooms and branch operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branches Accounting Operations

• Record daily accounting transactions for the Red Sea showrooms
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries aligned with head office standards.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable related to branch operations.
• Manage bank deposits, cash handling, and reconcile daily POS/cash sales.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for branch activities.
• Support the head office during month-end closing and consolidation.
• Provide analysis on branch profitability, and expenses.

3. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure all accounting records comply with internal policies and local regulations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and contracts.
• Support internal and external audits related to branch operations.

4. Support to Branch Operations

• Work closely with the branch manager, sales team, and head office finance.
• Provide financial insights to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in implementing new digital tools or accounting

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in general accounting, preferably in retail, automotive, or manufacturing.
• Excellent Excel skills (reconciliations, reporting, analysis).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently at the branch
