Full Time Role based in Barsha Heights - Dubai
About the Role
Vivaah Weddings is recruiting a full time Accountant to join our team in Barsha Heights. This role is suited for someone who has already worked in the events or wedding planning sector and understands the financial workflows behind large-scale destination Indian weddings. The position requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to manage multi-event cost structures in a fast moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day to day accounting using Xero
• Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss reports, expense tracking and reconciliation
• Oversee vendor payments, client invoicing and cash flow management across multiple weddings
• Maintain clear documentation for audits, contracts, and project budgets
• Coordinate closely with project managers on event budgets and real time cost updates
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and internal controls
• Support management with financial insights for forecasting and decision making
Required Experience and Skills
• Three to five years of accounting experience
• Previous experience within an event management or wedding planning company is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software is mandatory
• Strong understanding of cost structures in destination Indian weddings is a significant advantage
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Candidate
• North Indian candidates are preferred due to the requirement of understanding cultural and operational nuances within Indian destination weddings
• Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate immediately
Compensation
Monthly salary range of AED 4000 to AED 5000, based on experience.
