The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Consolidate financial results across multiple divisions or entities. Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare management reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards. Assist in the preparation of board-level reports and presentations.2. Month-End & Year-End Closing Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, and reconciliations. Ensure all journal entries are posted accurately and on time. Coordinate with external auditors during interim and final audits.3. General Ledger & Reconciliation Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls. Review and verify supporting documents for financial transactions. Ensure all balance sheet schedules are updated and supported with proper documentation.4. Budgeting & Forecasting Support Assist in budget preparation and periodic forecasting activities. Analyze budget variances and provide insights on deviations. Work with departments to gather data and ensure budget accuracy.Technical Skills Financial Reporting (IFRS expertise) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards) ERP System Proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally,) Financial Statement Analysis General Ledger Accounting Month-end and Year-end Closing Budgeting & Forecasting Consolidation of Financials Variance Analysis Audit Coordination (internal & external) Balance Sheet Reconciliation Tax Knowledge (VAT, Corporate Tax)Qualifications5+ years' of professional accounting experience CA Inter, and Master's degree in Accounting, Finance
