• Oversee daily accounting operations for all retail branches, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Monitor, review, and reconcile accounts, including inventory, payables, receivables, and store cash reports.
• Analyze retail sales performance, gross margins, and cost variances to support decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with internal control policies, taxation laws, and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with store managers and supply chain teams to validate inventory movements and stock adjustments.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, performance, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to enhance financial workflows and optimize cost efficiency.
• Review and approve payment cycles, journal entries, and all financial documents related to retail operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.Strong experience in retail accounting is highly preferred.Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and internal controls.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and meet strict deadlines.
