Position Summary

The Junior Accountant provides support to the finance department by performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records . This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in an accounting career.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.

• Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.

• Verify expenses and petty cash & record the appropriate transactions .

• Update the employee annual leave report to ensure accuracy & compliance regularly.

• Monitor & Update contract deadlines, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely renewal or follow-up actions when required. 

• Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation.

• Maintain accurate schedules for various milestones such as: municipality tax, rents, lawyers and auditors fees, various licenses etc…

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are welcome).

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles .

• Proficiency in MS Excel. Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Full-time position , Reporting to Chief Accountant
