Job Description

The Senior Accountant will oversee financial records, support audit activities, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong hands-on accounting experience and the ability to manage daily financial operations accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle monthly closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow
• Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic financial reports
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Liaise with tax authorities and ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations
• Maintain proper financial documentation and internal controls

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Previous experience in an export company is highly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems
• Solid understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
