Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant with 5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, particularly within the manufacturing and retail sectors, and experience with SAP software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts for payment delays and follow up with customers as necessary.
• Prepare and analyze AR reports to ensure timely collections and cash flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers and assess credit risk.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
• Provide support during audits by preparing AR-related documentation and reports.
• Train and mentor junior staff in AR processes and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting accounts receivable.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in manufacturing and retail.
• Proficiency in SAP and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
