- Understanding how to establish the chart of accounts (chart of accounts), and how to record accounts and maintain supporting documents.
- Preparing and recording the depreciation schedule for fixed assets in the accounting system.
- Recording and reconciling supplier and customer accounts .
- Recording bank account transactions and preparing bank reconciliation statements.
- Monitoring and recording financial advances and obtaining approvals for them.
- Employee accounts: Ensuring that employee entitlements and disbursements are properly recorded.
- Recording tax transactions clearly and accurately in the accounting system.
- Ensuring that all accounting data is recorded and entered into the accounting system, and maintaining an electronic copy of all necessary documents, entries, and accounting notes for all accounts so that system users can understand and use them .
- Preparing the trial balance on a monthly basis.
- Preparing monthly accounting reports such as income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, partners' equity, and collections report.
