Buzjany Construction Co. is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Legal Accountant to support the company’s financial operations, with a specific focus on the unique accounting requirements of legal practice. This entry-level role involves assisting with daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate client and firm financial records, and ensuring compliance with legal accounting regulations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and is eager to learn the specialized field of legal finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for the firm.
• Auditing and reviewing financial statements.
• Process client payments and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
• Analyze and address any inconsistencies or compliance concerns identified within financial documents.
• Support external auditors and compliance reviews as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop working papers and contribute to audit reports for clients.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
