Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Accountant based in Cairo, Egypt. The Head Accountant will oversee all accounting functions, prepare and analyze financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and lead a team of accounting professionals. The role includes preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and reports, as well as reviewing and approving expenditures. The Head Accountant will collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations and provide recommendations for cost-saving and process improvements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial statements Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a strong advantage Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Arabic is a plus
