الأدوار والمسؤوليات

We are seeking a Financial Control Analyst to join our team in Beirut. The Analyst will support the integrity of financial records, contribute to the preparation of financial reporting, and help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role provides exposure to both corporate and fund-level entities and will involve coordination with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Financial Reporting & Control:

  • Assist in maintaining the financial control framework across corporate and fund-level entities.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and internal deadlines.
  • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and participate in the monthly closing process.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Contribute to documenting and enhancing accounting procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing automation or reporting tools.

Audit & Compliance Support:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit and review processes.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and respond to auditor queries as needed.
  • Assist in fulfilling tax compliance obligations, including corporate tax filings, VAT, and other fund-specific requirements.

Management Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze financial data for senior management review.
  • Support the preparation of dashboards, schedules, and financial summaries that inform decision-making.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Accounting Standards: Basic understanding of IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365; familiarity with financial software and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Analysis & Problem-Solving: Able to analyze data, investigate variances, and propose practical solutions.
  • Organization & Time Management: Strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Automation & BI: Interest in financial systems, business intelligence tools, and process automation.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

Education: Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, CFA in progress is a plus).

Experience: 1 3 years of experience in accounting, financial control, or audit, ideally within asset management, real estate, or private equity environments.
